The Most Painful Injuries Floyd Mayweather Has Suffered During His Boxing Career

Floyd Mayweather ranks among the biggest legends in the sport of boxing. In his illustrious career run, Mayweather fought enormous times and even tested himself against the best of the game. He emerged victorious in all of those fights and certainly proved his worth to one and all.

Everyone saw how Mayweather escalated his decorated boxing career, but few know how consuming it was for the American boxer.

‘Pretty Boy’ faced hand injuries multiple times in his career and put himself in jeopardy. Back in 2013, after putting on a win against Robert Guerrero, ‘TBE’ unveiled that he’s injured his hand during the fight.

This right-hand injury wasn’t that severe, but Mayweather still went through all the checkups to be on the safe side. Although he put on a win against Guerrero in this fight, his next bout with the young gun, Canelo Alvarez, was still in jeopardy.

But after completing the requisite treatments and consultations with doctors, ‘Money’ was back inside the ring to lock horns with Canelo Alvarez in September 2013.

Also ahead of his biggest fight against Manny Pacquiao in 2015, his cutman Miguel Diaz said, He has all the problems in the world with his hands.

They all have the same hands, and the same problems. They didn’t have enough calcium as babies. Their bones did not grow strong.”
