‘He Wants to Be the Next Conor McGregor’- Brandon Moreno Trolls Deiveson Figueiredo

Last year, fans witnessed a close encounter between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. The fight was scheduled as the Flyweight main event at UFC 256 with no crowd in attendance.

Coming into the fight, Figueiredo looked confident as he underestimated the Mexican. ‘Deus da Guerra’ came in with no respect for his opponent as he hoped it to be an easy fight. But surprisingly, ‘The Assassin Baby’ proved to be a tough cookie and fought the fight to a draw.

Now both the Flyweights will lock horns yet again in a highly awaited rematch at UFC 263. The fight will be featured in the co-main event spot under the main event of Israel Adesanya vs Marvin Vettori.

Brandon Moreno joined TMZ sports where he had a lot to say about his opponent before they meet inside the octagon. Moreno said, “The guy is not really smart.

“You know he is an a** hole, and it’s fine. I don’t care. He is ugly, the guy is so ugly, my goodness I can’t believe it, but again he’s not really smart.

“He tried to put attention on himself and it’s fine he wants to make some money, he wants to be the next Conor McGregor. And I don’t really care I just wanna get the title, that’s it”.

Deiveson Figueiredo remains confident about the rematch

The Mexican believes Deiveson Figueiredo wants to be the next Conor McGregor as he has been talking a lot of trash lately.

Although the first fight was a draw, Figueiredo has downplayed Moreno in every possible way. Soon after the fight, the Brazilian said that he would knock out ‘‘The Assassin Baby’ in a rematch.

The fight ended in a draw because Brandon Moreno took an illegal shot from Figueiredo in the third round. The referee took away one point from ‘Deus da Guerra’ which ultimately played a factor in the final decision.

This is one of the reasons Figueiredo believes he will be victorious in the rematch. Yet Moreno has remained focused and is looking to dismiss every doubt by becoming the next Flyweight champion.
