Kourtney Kardashian reveals she had sex with Travis Barker while in labour – and 3cm dilated-Laura Harman-Entertainment – Metro

Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that she and her husband, Travis Barker, had sex while she was in labour with their first child together. 

The reality TV star, 45, announced her pregnancy in June 2023 at one of Travis’s concerts, and in November last year, she gave birth to their son, who they named Rocky.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, released on June 20, Kourtney opened up about the days leading up to the birth of her fourth child. 

The star revealed that her labour stalled and she only progressed to 3cm dilated while in hospital overnight, so they decided to go home and try and speed the process up.

‘I have been in this hospital room overnight and nothing is happening. I was three centimetres dilated up until four AM and then nothing progressed, she said in the episode.

‘I am not feeling stressed but then another part of me feels like “did we come too early?”’

The Poosh founder then revealed that she and her 48-year-old husband decided that sex might ‘help’.

‘We went home, ate at Crossroads, showered, slept in our bed and then we have sex to get things going to see if that helps, the star told the cameras. 

‘That can help sometimes,’ she added.

Kourtney has three children with her ex Scott Disick, Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, nine. Her partner Travis has two children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Landon, 20 and Alabama, 18.

Last year while Kourtney was pregnant, Travis postponed some of the band’s scheduled shows set to take place in the UK and Ireland and returned to the United States due to an ‘urgent family matter’.

Speaking cryptically on social media about the ordeal Kourtney revealed that she had been taken to hospital for emergency surgery and said she was ‘forever grateful’ to the doctors who saved their baby’s life.

On the reality TV show, Kourtney explained the horrible ordeal that required fetal surgery.

‘A couple of months ago, we had a terrifying scare where I had to have emergency fetal surgery for fluid in his lungs.’

‘It is super rare – the condition that he had – but it is also super rare and lucky that we caught it.’

She added: ‘I was definitely filled with fear after the surgery and the fluid in his lungs actually did start coming back. Then I watched this documentary that was all about the power of positive thinking and how our thinking can affect our health.’

She revealed that the fluid disappeared by the next scan and the baby had ‘not one single problem after.’

In a lighter moment during the episode, Travis revealed that this was the first time he would be involved in a vaginal delivery.

‘This is my first natural birth that I have experienced. With the baby actually exiting out of the vagina. I am a little frightened.’ He joked adding: ‘I am going to be right there. I am going to catch him like a basketball.’

‘You are not going to look at my vagina. No. You can’t be down there,’ his wife replied. 

‘You can but I don’t want you to be traumatised by your favourite thing in the world.’

The episode then revealed that Kourtney was later back in Los Angeles Hospital and was given an epidural and a doctor broke her water. 

The couple’s baby was born on November 1st and the couple named him Rocky Thirteen Barker.
