New seasons of House of the Dragon, The Bear, and The Boys are having a seismic effect on TV viewers’ summer schedules.
Fans of the hit TV shows, which are all released this month, have vowed to stay inside to binge-watch the series instead of making the most of the sun.
If you’ve been living under a rock, House of the Dragon is the spin-off series of Game of Thrones, while The Boys is a bonkers comedy about a group of corrupt superheroes.
Critically acclaimed show The Bear follows Jeremy Allen White’s chef Carmy attempt to turn his late brother’s Chicago sandwich shop into a fine-dining restaurant.
Now, though, viewers are in a pickle over how to juggle watching all three dramas while also having a life – and some are forgoing a social life altogether.
On X @JoeH1985 jokingly lamented: ‘New series of The Boys, House of Dragon, The Bear plus the Euros all this month. Ffs man I need to go out and do stuff like work and that.’

Declaring their intention to spend their summer in front of the telly, @sugarpapi_alex declared: ‘The Boyz and The Bear new season coming this month. I’m really gonna be sat this summer!!!’
Echoing their sentiment, @Unreal_Kev exclaimed: ‘House of the Dragon The Boys The Bear All this month. Stacked.’
@thedigitaldash also added: ‘the boys june 13 house of the dragon june 16 the bear june 27 #real television is back baby.’
House of the Dragon season 2 debuted last week, with new episodes landing weekly on Now – and it has already caused a stir.

Fans ‘had to skip’ a horrifying scene that happened after Rhaenyra Targaryen’s (Emma D’Arcy) sought revenge for the death of her second eldest son Luke (Elliot Grihault).
The Boys season 4, meanwhile, landed on Amazon Prime on June 13 after a two-year hiatus – to much fanfare and, of course, some mindboggling antics.
Viewers were treated to watching an Oscar-winning legend lend her voice to an octopus who has sex with people, and a close-up bum scene that set the tone of the new season.
Season 3 of The Bear will be released on Disney Plus on June 27 and follows Carmy, Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), and Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they try to elevate their fledgling restaurant.
But – not to overwhelm your summer even more – The Bear, House of the Dragon and The Boys are not the only major June releases.
Bridgerton season 3 part 2 landed on Netflix on June 13, while Star Wars: The Acolyte arrived on Disney Plus on June 4.
And, well, if none of those are your bag – there is also the Euros to tune into.
House of the Dragon is available to stream on Now, while The Boys can be watched on Prime Video. The Bear will be released on Disney Plus on June 27.
