Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to pull out of an upcoming public appearance, as he will be ‘unable to travel’.

The Black Sabbath rocker has had a tough few years and faced multiple health battles following a fall in 2019.

The 75-year-old was also diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and has since struggled with his mobility and chronic pain.

He was due to join his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and their children, Kelly and Jack, at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix, Arizona, next month, but most of the family will now no longer appear.

In a video shared on Instagram, the matriarch, 71, told fans: ‘Regretfully, the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix, because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time.

‘However, Jack will be there flying the flag for the Osbournes.’

‘We would like to thank you all for your constant support with Ozzy. It means so much to him, you have no idea,’ she continued.

‘All I can do is apologize that we won’t be there and I’m apologizing for people we’ve let down, from my heart. God bless you all. Thank you so much.’

Sharon added that those who had purchased the ‘Osbourne package’ will be fully refunded.

Fans had the opportunity to purchase a photo op with Ozzy, while the $566 ‘ultimate sin package’ allowed them to get pictures with the whole family.

Although she cited that her husband was ‘unable’ to travel, the X Factor legend didn’t go into further details about why this was.

Since a fall in 2019, Ozzy has endured a string of operations – he has been pictured using a wheelchair and walkers in the wake of his ordeal.

In a chat with Rolling Stone UK last year, the rock legend admitted that this had ‘knocked me about’ over the last few years.

‘The second surgery went drastically wrong and virtually left me crippled,’ he told the outlet. ‘I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f**king rod in my spine.

‘They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too. It’s pretty rough, man, and my balance is all f**ked up.

‘At best, I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed.’
