Former Celebrity Big Brother star Sally Morgan has revealed she was ‘asked on a date’ at her husband’s funeral.
The psychic medium, 72, has appeared in a range of TV programmes over the years, starting with the programme Sally Morgan: Star Psychic in 2007, which showcased her attempts to seemingly connect audiences with the spirits and ghosts of their loved ones.
She later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018, where she finished in fifth place.
In 2021 Sally, also known as Psychic Sally, took a brief hiatus from her work following the death of her husband of 46 years, John Morgan.
At the time Sally confirmed the 74-year-old had died following a ‘short battle with coronavirus’.
Now, three years on, Sally has spoken about the potential of finding love again.

However, she shared how someone took their chance a little too soon after the death of her husband.
Recalling the moment, she explained: ‘I’ll tell you what, at his funeral there were like 200 men at John’s funeral, maybe even more. One of them asked me on a date!’
Speaking about her husband, Sally said she would ‘never want another man to measure up’, adding John ‘has my heart’ during the interview on the Suddenly Single podcast.
Although Sally hasn’t been on any dates since her husband’s death, she is open to the possibility.
‘It would be nice to have a man around me, like a companion that could ring and say, “would you fancy going out for a drink tonight?”,’ she said.

Sally went on to explain that she still spoke to John ‘all the time’ and told him she ‘didn’t know’ if she could be ‘alone’ for the rest of her life, however ‘long or short that may be’.
‘There’s no way I’m going to replace John. I have no intention of doing that. But it would be nice to have a completely different person that I sort of imagine John looking at, laughing, saying, “Oh my God. How different to me is that?”’
However, Sally said people were ‘terrified’ to date her because John was the ‘love of my life’.
After being married for nearly 50 years, in 2021 Sally announced the death of her husband.
Alongside a black and white picture of John and Sally, the statement read: ‘It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of John Morgan, after a short battle with Coronavirus.
‘Sally would like to thank the amazing NHS and the incredible Doctors and Nurses at East Surrey Hospital for their outstanding work, love and compassion throughout everything.

‘John was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be missed greatly.
‘We would like to thank you all for the love and support you have shared over the last few weeks.’
John previously worked as his wife’s manager until 2014.
The couple share children Rebecca and Fern.
