A musician in one of Britain’s biggest rock bands of the 00s ‘looks exactly’ like a Hollywood star – and the comparison is weirdly uncanny.
Over the past month, the first season of Love Is Blind UK has been airing on Netflix, introducing viewers to a brand new batch of singletons hoping to find forever love from behind a wall.
Husband-and-wife duo Matt Willis and Emma Willis host the reality dating TV series together – Matt, who first soared to fame as one third of Busted, and Emma, who’s presented shows including Big Brother and The Circle.
Several people who tuned in to watch Love Is Blind UK couldn’t help but notice that Matt, 41, bears a striking resemblance to an actor who’s appeared in films and TV shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Only Murders In The Building and The Cabin in the Woods – Jesse Williams.
When you first think about these two individuals, you might not notice the similarities straight away – but put pictures of them side-by-side, we’re simply gobsmacked.
One X user going by the handle @FineVillaChai shared photos of Matt and Jesse, 43, next to each other wearing similar black-rimmed glasses, prompting another user called @adeyiinka_ to remark: ‘I thought they were the same person!!’

‘I need them on an episode of Finding Your Roots! They have to share some family tree roots lol,’ @wilson_jan9102 replied.
‘This actually makes sense🤣🤣🤣,’ added @MzJojoB, while @sydney_chanel shared: ‘I thought the same thing when he first appeared! I was like is that Jesse Williams co-hosting?! Had to rewind and everything 😂.’
Even more people noticed the unlikely doppelgänger connection between the pair.
It’s so true – now that we’ve seen it, we simply can’t unsee it.
This week, the final episodes of Love Is Blind UK’s first season were released, revealing which couples eventually tied the knot when they made it down the aisle.
However, that’s not all, as a reunion episode is set to drop on Monday August 26, which will update fans on what’s been going on in their lives since their nuptials.
On a recent podcast episode, Matt revealed that he and Emma, 48 – who recently took part in an extremely steamy photoshoot together – are frequently asked what they think the secret is to a successful relationship, having been married since 2008.
‘I really don’t think I’m qualified to answer those questions,’ he said on the On The Mend podcast.

‘I kind of think to myself really quickly about something I can say. “Oh, honesty’s really important,” or “tolerance” or something. But I really kind of gave it a real thought. I really sat down and thought about it for a couple of hours this week and I wrote some stuff.’
In response, one fan called Sare wrote on Instagram: ‘Loved this podcast Matt, love listening to a guy opening up and being vulnerable.’
Kristina also commented: ‘One of my favourite couples made of two of my favourite people. Love hearing you talk together and about each other.’
Love Is Blind UK is available to watch on Netflix.
