I’m a curvy girl who shows her belly in tight dresses.. trolls say I look like a ‘midsize van’ but I know I am beautiful

A MIDSIZE fashionista has belittled trolls with her self-love, despite being brutally compared to ”a midsize van”.

Although summer is almost over, many of us are still enjoying the warm weather in trendy dresses, whether that’s a mini, midi or a maxi number.

The woman, from Chicago, claimed that even her family think she’s ‘too fat’Instagram

Amongst them is also curvy style lover Vicky, who best describes her figure as ”midsize”, measuring at 5’2” and 180lbs.

The young woman, from Chicago, the US, regularly promotes body positivity on her page, where she also helps ”you love your body”.

However, the 30-year-old, whose message has won her close to 40k followers, recently admitted it wasn’t an easy journey – and she hasn’t always appreciated her curves.

”I would admire those who wore bodycon dresses but I never felt confident enough to pull it off,” she bravely opened up in a post on Instagram.

”Or if I was being true to myself, I never thought I was *beautiful* enough to wear it.

”Seeing others like me, midsize girls showed me that I can wear bodycon dresses like them.

”What are you waiting for? Go rock that outfit you’ve been wanting to wear!”

Vicky, who recently celebrated her wedding anniversary in Las Vegas, also added that she won’t be hiding behind any loose and oversized garments, whether that means showing her belly or not.

”I love bodycon dress despite what fashion rules say about me wearing them.”

According to the dark-haired beauty, even her family struggled to accept her appearance growing up, calling young Vicky ”too fat”’ – and sadly, things haven’t changed.

”I still have memories of family commenting that I’m fat when it’s the first time they’ve seen me in a long while and it still happens.

”I wish my younger self knew not to listen to these external commentaries because beauty standards are so subjective.

”I instead rely on my own self-love for myself. I know what’s going on in my life. I know what’s brought me to where I am today and I know what I’m capable of.”

But although her platform has helped many, spreading positivity, Vicky has also been targeted by brutal trolls who compare her to a ”midsize van”.

How to find a flattering bikini for any body type

Another chimed in: ”Midsize? Your BMI is 33. I know bmi isn’t accurate but that’s only for people who work out you obviously don’t.”

Someone else added: ”That’s plus size.”

”You look like a HIPPOPOTAMUS,” a fourth shared a brutal remark, as kind-hearted users flocked to hit back at the keyboard warriors.

”Wth is with these comments? You’re adorable and I’m loving the confidence,” a fan was baffled.

Another was just as stunned, writing: ”Yall are f***ing mean!

”She looks good! and she’s confident and happy. I wish I had half her confidence.”
