Noel Gallagher was well and truly put in his place by a group of kids in his first (sort of) interview following the Oasis comeback news.

The music icon and his brother, Liam Gallagher, sent fans into a frenzy this week by confirming their plans for a huge UK tour.

Pre-sale tickets then went live on Friday evening, with fans sitting in virtual queues exceeding 10,000 in the hopes of securing a spot in one of the venues for their 15-date UK and Ireland 2025 tour.

Ahead of the pre-sale pandemonium, though, Noel gave an impromptu ‘interview’ while out shopping at the Stone Island shop in London on Wednesday.

Noel, 57, was approached for a chat by a man named Steve Sheward, who was out with his four children.

A clip that has already been viewed millions of times on X captures the sweet moment in which the dad explains Noel is part of a ‘legendary band’.

‘Wait, is he getting back with his brother?’, one of the daughters asks, to which the dad confirms he is.

One of the children then asks Noel why he fell out with his brother, Liam, in the first place.

Jokingly, Noel replied: ‘Why’d I fall out with him? ‘Cause he stole my teddy bear.’

‘Not lying. He stole it in 1978,’ added the Manchester Britpop star.

Later in the clip, Noel is seen chatting and laughing with the group of children as they walk the streets together, arms full of shopping bags.

Steve shared the video with the caption: ‘Bumped into Noel Gallagher yesterday in the Stone Island shop in London, boyhood dream to walking into a pub for a beer with Noel & Liam, trumped that with my children making memories and just hope I can get tickets next year. A true gentleman [and] scholar.’

As for the real story behind Noel and Liam’s feud, the pair haven’t appeared on stage together since they split in 2009

Fans have been urging the brothers to regroup ever since their disbandment was prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

They have infamously aired their dirty laundry very publicly for the last 15 years after Noel declared he was unable to work with his sibling anymore.

Insults have been hurled left, right, and centre between both brothers, however, for the sake of their fans and a long-awaited reunion, Noel and Liam announced on Tuesday that they had put their acrimonious separation behind them, confirming: ‘The great wait is over.’

They also announced concerts in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, for which the pre-sale started tonight at 7pm, while general sale begins on Saturday at 9am and the sale for their two Dublin gigs will launch at 8am.

It has not been announced who will be performing with Noel and Liam as part of Oasis.

Although, previous reports claimed that no other original Oasis members would be joining the reunion, with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds expected to step in.

Alas, not everyone will have the opportunity to be there in person, with virtual queues dashing diehard fans’ hopes before they even had the chance to try for tickets.

What’s more, mere minutes into the pre-sale on Friday night, the likes of Viagogo were already displaying resale tickets for four figures.

Raging fans took to X to vent, branding it a ‘disgrace’ as tickets for the Wembey show were being sold on for over £900.

Many called for the resale tickets – several of which were given an extortionate price despite being restricted view behind the stage – to be cancelled.
