Robbie Williams won’t be letting Noel Gallagher forget about their almost 25-year-old feud anytime soon as he finally chipped in on the Oasis reunion.
The chart-topping music artist, 50, has his fair share of history with the two-man band, and spent a short time as good friends with the brothers, Noel and Liam, during the mid-1990s after leaving Take That.
Soon, however, their relationship soured.
Everything came to a headat the 2000 Brit awards when Noel called Robbie the ‘fat dancer from Take That’. Robbie, who swept to victory during the award ceremony, was ready with a comeback.
He said: ‘So, anybody like to see me fight Liam? Liam, a hundred grand of your money and a hundred grand of my money. We’ll get in a ring and we’ll have a fight and you can all watch it on TV, what d’you think about that?’
The trio have been verbally sparring back and forth for years, trading insults (and even the occasional compliment). And now, the historic feud has made a resurgence as Oasis reunite after a 15-year hiatus (thanks to a feud of their own).

Tickets for the hotly-anticipated Oasis tour sold out over the weekend, with the boys announcing two extra Wembley dates due to ‘phenomenal demand’.
The Angels hitmaker took to Instagram shortly after saying the reconciliation was ‘fascinating’.
‘The soap opera alone will either be exciting and or ghoulish to watch,’ he continued.
For starters, he questioned how insurable to whole affair was given the Gallagher brothers’ volatile and unpredicatable working relationship.
‘Is there a clause for unresolved childhood trauma rearing its head and making the space between and around the boys untenable?,’ he wrote.

‘As for the shows? They’re gonna be incredible, off the scale special, the audience will make sure of that, they have pre-booked an experience…
‘Liam Gallagher reading his phone on the toilet would be more charismatic and intriguing than 99.9% of the world’s population at their most enigmatic.
‘All he has to do is stand there and sing for the audience to be guaranteed their money’s worth.’
He artfully ended the tirade with the quip: ‘Noel will be there too.’
In 2021, the music artist spoke about how ‘unbearable’ the feud was.
‘Every time I watched TV programmes, there were people being hateful about me. That was just wrong and grotesque. It was unbearable. I just left the country,’ Robbie told Talent Takes Practice.

‘I remember every single syllable of every single thing they’ve ever said about me.
‘Liam said that I should be hung, Noel said I was ‘the fat dancer from Take That’,’ (not to mention Liam calling him a ‘fat f**king idiot’ in 2013.
Whether Robbie makes a surprise appearance at the 2025 stadium tour to put the tension to bed remains to be seen.
For now, though, ordinary fans have been left angered at Oasis and Ticketmaster after ‘dynamic pricing’ left them out of pocket. Thousands more will have to miss out entirely with Oasis receving over 450 complaints thanks to the chaos.
‘Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on sale with Ticketmaster,’ Oasis shared after announcing the two extra Wembley shows on September 27 and 28, 2025.
