‘I’m Going For McGregor’- Jake Paul Reveals Who He Wants Next After Tyron Woodley

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has caught a lot of eyeballs around the world in a brief but eventful boxing career. He is gearing up to face former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, later this year.

His recent fight handed him a KO win over a legitimate prizefighter in Ben Askren in April this year. He and his brother Logan have constantly trash-talked about some of the most well-known UFC fighters.

Jake, in particular, had many times called out the ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor for a fight in a boxing ring. The latter does have experience of competing inside the squared stage. He has already fought against Floyd Mayweather.

Recently, the YouTuber appeared in an interview where he talked about various kinds of stuff, including his next fight, his coaches, and also fighting different UFC stars.

“I’m going for McGregor,” he said. “I’m going for Mayweather, and I’m going for all of these guys. I want Kamaru Usman, Diaz. I got a long list. But I’m not looking past Tyron at all.”

“There are a lot of names (including Michael Bisping). It’s like who is available. These guys are owned by Dana White so who’s Dana White gonna let off (the) contract will get knocked out,” he concluded.

When Jake Paul listed reasons on why he would knock out Conor McGregor easily

McGregor is easily the most recognizable face of the UFC. The Irishman is constantly on the lips of many fighters across the combat sport community, let alone UFC fighters. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise when someone calls him out for a fight.

During an interview with The Sun, Paul had mentioned several reasons why he thinks he can beat McGregor one on one. “First and foremost I’m a better athlete than McGregor,” he said.

“He never played football, he never played lacrosse, he never wrestled, he was never an All-State football player. I’m taller by four inches or so and I’m about 60 pounds, 50 pounds heavier without a weight cut.

“And that’s what a lot of people don’t understand when I’m hitting these guys – I’ve got knockout power because I’m cutting down from 210lbs,” he said.

He also advised McGregor to not underestimate him, as he would train hard to face him (McGregor) if they ever get booked in the future.
Well, there is no blueprint at least for now for both the fighters to collide soon. Paul has a task in hand when he faces Woodley next and McGregor will face Poirier come UFC 264.
