Belinda Carlisle, the legendary singer who rose to fame as the lead vocalist of The Go-Go’s in the 1980s, has left fans in awe after being spotted at Sydney Airport looking effortlessly youthful at 66.

Dressed in head-to-toe black, Carlisle turned heads with her radiant appearance, looking exactly as she did when she first made waves in the music industry in 1986 with her album Mad About You.

Wearing a chic combination of dark trousers, a sleek black sweater, and flat-soled shoes, Carlisle looked elegant and travel ready.

Her strawberry-blonde hair flowed gracefully over her shoulders, highlighting her signature style, while gold hoop earrings and several bold bracelets added a touch of glam.

Carlisle’s appearance comes just days before she kicks off The Decades Australian tour, beginning in Perth and spanning several stops across New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland before wrapping up in Brisbane on October 6.

Fans are eagerly awaiting her return to the stage, where she’ll celebrate her incredible career that spans four decades.

Despite her ageless appearance, Carlisle has openly discussed the challenges of aging in the music industry.

In a candid interview with People magazine, she reflected on how being an ‘older singer’ has changed her approach to performing.

‘I used to take my voice for granted, but I don’t anymore,’ she revealed, sharing how she now takes extra care to maintain her voice while touring. ‘When I’m on the road, I travel with three humidifiers and have all these rituals just to keep my voice healthy.’

While she’s embraced her timeless beauty and continued to shine on stage, Carlisle has also faced her share of obstacles.

In her 40s, she was dropped by her record label, a moment she once thought would be the end of her career.

‘It was a disaster at the time, but looking back, it was a gift,’ she admitted, recalling how the experience pushed her to explore life beyond music.

Today, Carlisle is once again at the forefront of the music scene, having released her EP Kismet earlier this year.

A collaboration with award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, the five-track project has been critically acclaimed.

As she takes to the stage for her Australian tour, Belinda Carlisle isn’t just defying age – she’s rewriting what it means to be a true superstar through every stage of life.
