Actor Mandy Moore has shared a beautiful photo with her newborn baby in hospital as she announced the birth of her third child.

The Disney star, 40, posted the black-and-white photo to her 5.5million followers on Wednesday of her on a hospital bed looking overjoyed while she held her newborn and gazed into her husband, Taylor Goldsmith’s eyes.

‘Lou is here! Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are. Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time.’

The ‘big three’ refers to Mandy’s hit show This Is Us which featured three siblings affectionately known as the big three – leading to fans in the comments gushing about the sweet nod to her past role.

What’s more, in the show, her character Rebecca Pearson has two boys and a girl – much like real life.

Her husband – the lead singer of Dawes- 39, and Mandy are also parents to August ‘Gus’, three, and Oscar ‘Ozzie’, two.
