Strictly has been blasted by fans who all have the same complaint after watching the first competitive episode of the show.
Following the launch episode of the series last week, Strictly Come Dancing was back with a bang on Saturday night for the first dance-off of the series.
Fans loved seeing the fifteen contestants dance properly for the first time and loved when Chris McCausland delivered the ‘line of the series’ with an epic dig directed at Craig Revel Horwood.
But there was one major problem that frustrated a lot of viewers, many argued that the episode felt ‘rushed’ and were disappointed that there was no grand entrance to kick off the show.
‘No grand entrance?? #Strictly’ questioned Tomjamesclark on X.

‘This opening feels really rushed… #Strictly,’ addded Kendal_.
‘I hate the entrances this year. bring back the proper introductions and the STRICTLY THEME!!!!!! we used to be a real country,’ said paradiseieah.

This was a consensus with a lot of fans who were disappointed that the judges had a big entrance, but the hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly just appeared on the show.
‘No entrance from Claud & Tess for the first time #Strictly,’RyanTheSoapking complained.
‘Are we that tight for time that we can’t fit in Tess and Claudia coming down the stairs? I’d rather bin off the judges entrance. #Strictly,’ AlfieS12 said.
‘Tess and Claudia need to to walk on it looks stupid how they are both stood there without any entrance #Strictly,’ Chloerichx added.
The show may have felt longer on Saturday because none of the contestants had been eliminated, which is set to change tonight as it will be announced that one of the celebrities has been eliminated.

This criticism from fans was yet another woe for the dance competition following recent scandals about bullying between dancers and celebrities.
After a BBC investigation, the broadcaster announced three major changes to support welfare.
A statement from the corporation in July said: ‘The BBC is today announcing additional steps to strengthen welfare and support on Strictly Come Dancing.
The changes that the BBC are introducing include having a team member present during training room rehearsals at all times. Additionally, a celebrity welfare producer and a professional dancer welfare producer have also been appointed.
And finally, the BBC vowed to deliver further training for the production team and crew.

Although it has yet to be announced which contestant will be leaving the show, fans praised some contestants, suggesting their position in the competition is secured.
Sarah Hadland impressed viewers with the dramatic finish to her performance, she also admitted that she fancied her dance partner Vito Coppola.
Many were also blown away by Chris McCausland’s performance, as he and his dance partner Dianne Buswell received huge praise online from fans for being an inspiration to blind people.
