Kerry Katona has revealed she was robbed in broad daylight and now fears leaving the house.

The mum-of-five, 44, was staying in a hotel in Mayfair, London, with fiancé Ryan Mahoney when her Gucci bag with medication, her phone and her earphones, was taken.

‘I couldn’t believe it, I have the worst luck,’ she said.

Writing in her column for OK!, she went on to explain that they’d left their belongings with the concierge and went out for lunch, as their room wasn’t ready.

She went on: ‘I left my Gucci holdall with them which had all my medication in it for my back and chronic pain, the phone I use for my banking apps, my earphones and much more.’

She added that she noticed a man ‘acting strangely’ but ‘didn’t think anything of it’.

The hotel later told her that her bag was missing, and she saw him take it on CCTV.

‘It was so triggering for me and I did feel emotional afterwards, it’s just so scary to think you’re not safe,’ Kerry said.

She added: ‘Thankfully, Ryan and I are OK and things can be replaced, it’s just frustrating and scary.

‘I don’t understand how people can wake up and decide to do these things, it’s awful.

‘When things like this happen it makes me scared to go out as I don’t want to be targeted.’

The former Atomic Kitten star has previously spoken about being left ‘traumatised’ after her car was stollen, referencing previous burglaries.

In 2021, Kerry said she was ‘absolutely violated’ after her car, filled with Christmas presents, was stolen during a shopping trip with her children.

Kerry said, recalling a previous burglary: ‘It was really traumatic to watch someone drive off with my car…it is just a car, everything in it is replaceable, it massively triggered me, brought loads of memories back.

‘I was angry as well over the fact I’ve worked really hard, turned my life around, then dirty scumbags who can’t be a****d getting a f***ing job nick my car because they think it’s the easiest way to get money.

‘It was really traumatic for my two little girls as well.’
