Stereophonics have announced their biggest ever stadium tour for summer 2025.

The 00s Welsh rockers, known for huge tracks like Dakota, Have A Nice Day and A Thousand Trees, will play a series of dates in June and July across the UK next summer for a hit-filled night of fun.

The so-called Stadium Anthems tour marks the group’s first time on the road in three years, with frontman Kelly Jones promising all the bangers in a run of ‘huge outdoor gatherings’.

‘Being on the road again with my best friends, playing all the hits of this bands catalogue, for people in huge outdoor gatherings through the summer of 2025 makes me so excited, we should make a new album,’ he said.

Thankfully, the band have ‘already’ been hard at work on their 13th studio album, the follow-up to 2022’s Oochya.

On the idea of recording a new record, he teased: ‘Oh wait… we already did that! See ya there for more good times… TUNE!!! TUNE!!! TUNE!!’

Since their debut LP Word Gets Around dropped in 1997, the band have released eight chart topping albums and host of hit singles, from The Bartender and the Thief to Maybe Tomorrow – so fans are in for a great time!

The tour will begin in Belfast at Belsonic before taking in some of the UK and Ireland’s biggest venues such as St Anne’s Park in Dublin, Cork Virgin Media Park and London’s Finsbury Park.

There will also be stops at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium and Glasgow Bellahouston Park before it culminates with the band making their homecoming at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Tickets for the tour will go on general sale from Friday, with special guests for the tour are to be announced in due course.
