Katie Price is back behind the wheel after a drink driving offence in 2021 resulted in a two-year ban from driving. 

The 46-year-old former fashion model was spotted earlier this week jumping into the driver’s seat of her brand new £40,000 car after visiting a tanning salon in London. 

Wearing a white crop top, eye-catching purple Adidas joggers, and a matching purple zip-up top, she completed her look with silver moon boots before driving off in her Nissan Qashqai.  

The mother of five’s return to driving comes after she was convicted following a terrifying accident in which she flipped her BMW on the B2135 near Partridge Green on September 28, 2021.

She confessed to police at the scene that she was under the influence of drugs: ’I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all.’

Law enforcement officers performed a roadside breath test, which read positive, and later confirmed Katie was also under the influence of the class A drug, cocaine.

Following the incident, she was given a suspended 16-week jail sentence, a driving ban, and told to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and attend rehab. 

During that court appearance, the prosecutor pointed out that Katie had five previous driving bans.

She was initially scheduled to get her license back last year but saw a delay after she was accused of driving on August 2, 2023. 

The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star was reportedly driving a Range Rover on the A14 bypass in Kettering, Northamptonshire, without insurance and without a valid driver’s licence.

She had previously denied both motoring charges.

It’s been a tough few months for the star after she was declared bankrupt for a second time and arrested at Heathrow Airport after skipping a court date.

Katie failed to attend a court hearing in August relating to her case as she was in Turkey undergoing her sixth facelift surgery, which was estimated to have cost  £10,000.

The star was then arrested when she returned to the UK but has since spoken out, maintaining that she did not leave the country for a mental health break but rather to work on a documentary about corrective procedures.

She also said that she takes the proceedings ‘seriously’, previously denying ‘running away’ from her problems.

Katie, who was first declared bankrupt in 2019, was released on bail and has made court appearances since.

It comes after she appeared to be sporting a painful injury on her food during a luxury break in Cyprus. 

While enjoying her sun-filled trip with boyfriend JJ Slater, the TV star was snapped sunbathing while wearing a small white bikini and a bandage around her ankle. 

Just one week prior, her partner was seen pushing her in a wheelchair, but if her most recent outing is anything to go by, she appears to be okay now.
