Just days after the death of former One Direction star Liam Payne, fans have been hit with a bittersweet reminder of the star’s more playful side.
Emerging on their TikTok For You pages, a personalised homepage displaying videos based on their interests and preferences, are multiple videos of the late star, 31, dancing with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
From a pre-wedding boogie to a fun skit before the couple attended Niall Horan’s concert in Buenos Aires earlier this month, Cassidy, 25, and Payne appeared to be having plenty of good times together, and it’s struck a chord for fans.
While some are enjoying seeing the star in happier times, others are devastated by the sudden influx of Payne videos and are commenting on the posts to share their heartbreak.
Commenting on a video of Payne and Cassidy dancing before they went out for a dinner in Argentina on October 2, Wienna wrote: ‘The algorithm is not respecting our grief…’
Sahra agreed, adding: ‘The algorithm is playing dirty tricks 😭’

Elsewhere, a grieving fan, Tima, wrote: ‘It’s actually incomprehensible to me that someone just doesn’t exist anymore… I can’t process the concept of death, like what do you mean this person isn’t going to be here anymore?’
Another video posted in September shows the pair in good spirits as they danceto Some by Junggigo and Soyou. Wearing a burgundy two piece top and skirt, Kate was all smiles as she danced before turning around and letting Payne take the spotlight.
Wearing white pants and a burgundy white shirt, the late pop star turned around and could be seen fixing the collar on his top before the couple faced each other and grinned happily as they clapped their hands together.

Dancing to the song Disco by Surf Curse, the pair shared multiple sweet smiles with one another as they boogied, before turning to the camera and grinning widely.

Payne died aged 31 on Wednesday after falling from a balcony.
He was staying at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and local police are currently investigating his death as tributes continue to pour in.
The autopsy confirmed Payne died from multiple injuries sustained in his fall that led to ‘internal and external haemorrhaging.’
The Little Things hitmaker was a beloved UK musician after shooting to fame alongside his former bandmates — Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles — on X Factor in 2014.
His former bandmates released a heartbreaking group statement yesterday, and Malik, Tomlinson, and Styles also shared individual tributes dedicated to their ‘brother’.
Payne leaves behind his son, Bear, seven, who he shares with Cheryl Cole, his parents, Geoff and Karen Payne and his girlfriend, Cassidy.
