Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has been seen in public for the first time since his death.

The 25-year-old influencer – who had been with the singer for two years – was seen out in Florida over the weekend with a group of friends as they supported her days after the One Direction star died aged 31.

Cassidy had initially joined her boyfriend in Argentina on holiday to watch his former bandmate Niall Horan in concert on October 4.

However, she left the country on October 14, just two days before Payne fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

Over the weekend, she was spotted out shopping for dog food for the pet pooch they shared together, as she walked with two friends offering her support during such a difficult time.

Cassidy was pictured without makeup sporting grey joggers, sandals and an oversized t-shirt, with bags in hand.

On Friday, she posted on Instagram and said she was at a ‘complete loss’ following Payne’s death, adding that she loved him ‘unconditionally and completely’.

‘Thank you for all the kind words and love that has been sent my way,’ she began.

‘I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.

‘Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.’

She added 444, which are often referred to as angel numbers.

Payne and Cassidy began dating in 2022, after he drank at a bar in Charleston, South Carolina, called Ritual, where she was working at the time as a waitress.

He previously wrote about Cassidy on Instagram: ‘Gotta say you could tell me anything and I couldn’t be turned. I’ve never felt a love like I do for Katelyn. We make each other better people.’

Meanwhile, fans’ TikTok For You pages, a personalised homepage displaying videos based on their interests and preferences, have been featuring multiple videos of the late star dancing with his girlfriend.

From a pre-wedding boogie to a fun skit before the couple attended Niall Horan’s concert in Buenos Aires, Cassidy and Payne appeared to be having plenty of good times together, and it’s struck a chord for fans.

While some are enjoying seeing the star in happier times, others are devastated by the sudden influx of Payne videos and are commenting on the posts to share their heartbreak.

Payne’s autopsy has confirmed he died from multiple injuries sustained in his fall that led to ‘internal and external haemorrhaging’.

The Little Things hitmaker was a beloved UK musician after shooting to fame alongside his former bandmates — Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles — on The X Factor in 2014.

Payne leaves behind his son, Bear, seven, who he shares with Cheryl Cole, his parents, Geoff and Karen Payne and his girlfriend, Cassidy.
