Three London Shake Shack restaurants will have a limited time menu inspired by World Of Warcraft, with a special tankard available in November.

It’s not unusual to see video games collaborate with other companies to stir up some excitement for game launches, with one memorable example being that time Diablo held a contest for a PC full of actual blood.

More recently, the newly released Black Ops 6 partnered up with energy drink Monster, to gift fans perks such as double XP and skins if they buy a can.

Now, burger restaurant Shake Shack has announced that it will launch a World of Warcraft-inspired menu in London, and the first 150 fans to use it will get a special tankard – although there’s no photos of what it looks like yet.

The collaboration is part of the 20th anniversary celebration of World Of Warcraft, and so part of a wider event that runs from October 22 until January 6, 2025.

Shake Shack has announced that between November 17 and 21, three of its London restaurants will include a menu inspired by the game’s most recent expansion, The War Within, and its two main factions, the Alliance and the Horde.

The menu comes with the Horde Burger, a double cheeseburger, ‘Inspired by the taverns of the capital of Orgrimmar, a burger to satisfy the appetite of an orc.’

It also includes the Alliance Fries, and the Xal’atath Shake, and will be available at the Leicester Square, Camden, and Mansion House restaurants.

The 20th anniversary lets fans use a new in-game currency, earn rewards, and play new activities until January 6, 2025, which you can read more about here.

It also includes the return of old bosses like The Sha of Anger, Archavon the Stonewatcher, Azuregos, and Doomwalker.

Shake Shack isn’t the only company working with World Of Warcraft during the celebration, as the massively multiplayer online game has also joined forces with Mountain Dew.

The drink brand has has launched two flavours inspired by World Of Warcraft, the Citrus Cherry featuring Thrall and the Citrus Blackberry featuring Xal’atath, but they’re only available in the US.
