WWE Crown Jewel 2024 preview with early UK start time and more matches-Alistair McGeorge-Entertainment – Metro

WWE Crown Jewel is just a day away as the company breaks one its recent rules for this weekend’s show.

The wrestling giant returns to Saudi Arabia this weekend for a stacked card which has broken the recent run of premium live events being limited to five matches, typically fitting into three hours.

This time round, fans are being treated to seven bouts, with two brand new championship on the line as part of their long running presence in Saudi.

Men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Titles will be up for grabs as the respective Raw and SmackDown world champions battle it out, while The Bloodline is reforming as Eve

There are also two other championships being defended, and some fierce grudge matches to add to the fun.

Here is everything you need to know about tomorrow’s huge show.

When is WWE Crown Jewel?

WWE Crown Jewel airs tomorrow (Saturday, November 2), with the premium live event kicking off at 5pm for fans watching in the UK. The earlier start is down to the time difference in Saudi Arabia, and our clocks going back last weekend.

How can you watch WWE Crown Jewel?

Fans can tune into the main Crown Jewel event either live or on demand via the WWE Network, or on TNT Sports Box Office.

The usual Kickoff show is expected to air an hour before at 4pm via the WWE Network, as well as X, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and more.

Of course, that will all change for fans in January 2025 with WWE’s content set to move to Netflix as part of a mega $5 billion deal.

What are the WWE Crown Jewel Championships?

WWE is unveiling two new titles tonight – the Crown Jewel Championships, which were announced at Bad Blood last month.

For the men’s, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will battle World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, with the winner taking home the new prize.

On the women’s side, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax faces off with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan to determine the new titleholder.

However, the new silverware is not expected to be a regularly fixture on WWE television beyond the Saudi shows, with the company confirming they will contested each year between the world champs at the time.
