How Much Did Jordan Spieth Win at the 2021 Memorial Tournament?

Jordan Spieth was one of the favorites to win the 2021 Memorial Tournament, but he fell short this year. Nonetheless, it was a good finish from the Texas native after four challenging rounds at the Muirfield Village Golf Club. Furthermore, Spieth also earned a six-figure payout for his performance at the 2021 Memorial.

Jordan Spieth opened his Memorial Tournament campaign with a 76 in the first round. That was nowhere near the leaders, but the 27-year-old drastically improved in the subsequent rounds. He ended the tournament T18 with an aggregate score of 287 and was tied for the position with Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Talor Gooch, Louis Oosthuizen, Antoine Rozner, Vaughn Taylor, and Lucas Herbert.

Jordan Spieth payout: How much did he take home at Muirfield Village?

Jordan Spieth once again went winless at the Memorial Tournament. While he’s come close in the past, a T18 finish was all that he could achieve in 2021. But the Texas native will put it in the bag and move on as the U.S. Open 2021 is right ahead.

As for his payout, Jordan Spieth won the exact prize money as the other seven golfers who also finished 18th at the Memorial Tournament. Spieth received a payout of $110,670 and recorded his 10th Top 25 finish of the season.

Spieth’s best round came on Friday as he shot 5-under 67 to gain places on the leaderboard.

Overall, he made 15 birdies and 44 pars at the 2021 Memorial Tournament. He also recorded a 57.14% driving accuracy and made 58.33% greens in regulation.

It was a good performance, but not quite what Jordan Spieth would’ve wanted. His game showed faltering signs at times, but he held his composure and closed it out well.

Spieth said that fans sometimes call him ‘Justin’ on the golf course

There was plenty of drama at the 2021 Memorial Tournament when Bryson DeChambeau was heckled by fans. At one point, it went up to an extent where they kept calling DeChambeau ‘Brooksie’ due to his ongoing feud with Brooks Koepka.

Jordan Spieth was asked to reflect on the matter during a press conference and was asked if he had faced any such circumstance during a tournament.

“I don’t know. I mean, I get “Justin” a lot because people get us two kind of confused a little bit. No, I wouldn’t — at this point I would just, I would say my armor’s a little thicker than it used to be, so I feel like I could probably just laugh something off,” Spieth mentioned.

Interesting that people get confused between Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth. Have you ever been confused with two golfers before?
