Nicole Scherzinger’s social media activity has sparked backlash after she appeared in the comments section of disgraced comedian Russell Brand.
Famously divisive and outspoken, particularly where politics is concerned, Brand, 49, has previously expressed his support for newly-elected Donald Trump as US President.
Ahead of Joe Biden dropping out of the race, Brand said that ‘if you care about democracy, I don’t know how you could do anything other than vote for Trump’.
After the Republican candidate was declared victorious in the November 6 election, Brand took to Instagram with a photo of himself wearing a red cap, which would typically be emblazoned with the slogan ‘Make America Great Again’.
However, following his own so-called spiritual awakening, Brand’s had ‘Make Jesus First Again’ stitched on the front.
He also captioned his post with ‘God Bless America.’

Seemingly unbothered about publicly affiliating herself with both Brand and Trump, Pussycat Dolls star Scherzinger, 46, expressed her desire to replicate his look.
She commented: ‘Where do I get this hat!!!?🙏🏽❤️’
After noticing her comment, fans of the pop star expressed their disappointment, with some branding her a ‘predator enabler’.
Replying to her, Instagram user societysboy wrote, ‘No, hun, this ain’t it at all’.
‘F***ing hell, Nicole, not this’, exclaimed lee_j11.
User toms96 commented a red flag emoji, while cheryljayasinghe wrote: ‘Nice, predator enabling 🤮’

Taking the conversation over to X, Ryanmarcx stated that Scherzinger has ‘come out as a Trump supporter’.
Get Him to the Greek actor Brand is currently being investigated following a string of sexual assault and rape allegations made against him over a period of several years.
In the most recent update, police handed over the investigation to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to consider charges. Brand denies any wrongdoing.
Meanwhile, President-elect Trump, who began serving his first four years in 2016 after beating Hillary Clinton, has a long history of problematic and offensive remarks and policies.
This week, Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris by securing 277 electoral votes in one of the closest presidential races in US history.
After he beat Harris, Democrat supporters expressed their fear for the country, given Trump’s track record with supporting anti-abortion legislation and anti-immigration, to name just two examples.

Several celebrities have already claimed they would move to the UK if Trump were to be successful in his bid for a second term at the White House.
The likes of America Ferrera, Cher, and Sophie Turner have all expressed feeling ‘unsafe’ and suffering under Trump’s last presidency, citing raging gun violence and the overturning of Roe v. Wade as major causes for concern.
In contrast, though, other celebs have been celebrating, including one of Scherzinger’s Pussycat Doll bandmates.
Jessica Sutta took to Instagram after the result, sharing a slew of smiley photos in which she wears a red dress, aka the Republican colour, and a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.

‘We won. 🏆’, she wrote in her caption, having long endorsed the Republican Party.
She previously threw her endorsement behind Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who joined the Trump campaign in August after dropping out as an independent candidate.
Reps for Nicole Scherzinger have been contacted for comment.
