We can all breathe a sigh of relief as Alicia Silverstone has swapped mildly poisonous fruit for something a little sweeter – and less dangerous – while filming her latest project.

The legendary 90s actress, known mostly for her efforts as Cher Horowitz in Clueless, recently sparked concern from fans over the world when she appeared to tuck into a ‘mystery berry’ that she found growing in someone’s garden.

After confirming that she is definitely alive and well, the 48-year-old wasted no time and got herself away from those potentially fatal snacks and back to work.

In new pictures, she was spotted on the set of a upcoming murder mystery series, Irish Blood, in Ireland, clutching an overflowing box of churros.

She looked way more chic than we could ever muster in front of camera, sporting a black blouse and skinny jeans, paired with knee-high, heeled black boots and a dark green coat.

The Hollywood favorite covered up against the cold even more between takes, opting for a black padded jacket during breaks and touch ups.

‘A lie intended to protect her and her mother from her father’s shady business dealings. Fiona resolves to uncover the full truth about her father and reconnect with the parent she only thought she knew.’

Alicia stars opposite Wendy Crewson, Jason O’Mara, Dearbhla Molloy, Simone Kirby, Ruth Codd and Leonardo Talwo.

The Batman & Robin actress made headlines in summer when she caused a huge stir by posting a video of herself stealing and eating fruit from someone’s front garden.

In the footage, shared on TikTok, she shared that she had no clue what the fruit she’d found in a random bush actually was, before tucking into the unidentified berry.

Addressing the camera, she pondered what it was as she continued to chomp on it, before clarifying that she is in England and asking locals if they could shed light on the snack.

Fans were quick to voice their concerns, suggesting that the orange seed-heavy berry was a ‘Jerusalem cherry’ also known as a solanum pseudocapsicum, which is mildly poisonous.

Thankfully, Alicia very quickly returned to social media, setting the world straight by announcing: ‘Alive and well! Don’t worry… I didn’t swallow.’

Let’s just hope she steers clear of any fruit bushes in Ireland…
