Big Brother fans ‘disgusted’ after host Will Best makes tone-deaf Diddy joke-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro

Big Brother fans have slammed a joke host Will Best made about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

This season of the ITV reality series is coming to an end tonight, with the show also facing several controversial moments in recent weeks.

The show has now yet again come under fire, after an episode of Late & Live saw Will make a quip about the disgraced rapper, 39.

On Thursday night’s episode, the spin-off series saw 2023 housemate Olivia, Celebrity Big Brother’s David Potts and house guest Tyler West appear as part of the panel.

In the opening minutes of the episode, the TV host referenced Big Brother handing out badges to the housemates, something that was replicated for the three panellists whom he said ‘deserves badges of honour for their contributions’.

After Olivia was awarded a badge for ‘Gobbiest Panellist’, David spoke about receiving the title of ‘Best Legs’.

As he showed off his pins, Will said that ‘no-one was surprised’.

The group then remarked on David’s ‘shiny legs’, with Tyler saying he’d left ‘empty bottles of baby oil’.

‘It’s like P Diddy’s dressing room!’ Will said.

The panel and audience immediately looked taken aback, with audible gasps.

David reprimanded him shouting ‘Will!’, while Tyler told him to ‘stop’ and didn’t look impressed and grimaced as he leant back in his chair.

Many of those watching at home made it clear they found the joke inappropriate too.

‘No way will best just made a p diddy ‘joke’ on tv. He’s a loser and that was disgusting,’ user C posted on X.

‘Will Best on #BBUK Late & Live joking about P D*ddy. Could this be career ending?’ Georgia shared.

‘Considering all the allegations Will joking about P Diddy is rather inappropriate tbh’ Kerry added.

Will began co-hosting the ITV revival of Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu last year, going on to front the spin-off Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.

Diddy was taken into custody in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He is currently behind bars at a facility in Brooklyn after he was denied bail twice.

There have been many disturbing claims relating to his arrest after federal police officers raided his homes in Miami and Los Angeles in March, with an indictment later stating that ‘more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant’ were found.

Later, legal paperwork filed alleged he doused his victims in ‘lotions or similar body oils… laced with GHB’.

The filing claimed that ‘the drug would be absorbed through the victim’s skin and make it easier to assault him or her.’
