WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 is back as one of wrestling’s most brutal matches takes centre stage.

With WWE moving to Netflix in January 2025, this weekend’s premium live event is one of the final big shows before the historic move and it’s absolutely stacked.

It’s the 38th edition of the company’s iconic event, while creative chief Triple H brought the WarGames match to Survivor Series as its centrepiece from the 2022 edition.

As well as the men’s and women’s bouts inside the intimidating structure, there are also three championship matches with the United States, Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Titles on the line.

As with most PLEs nowadays, five matches is the limit, with WWE giving everything plenty of time to breathe while still making sure the shows are stacked from top to bottom.

Here is everything you need to know about tomorrow’s huge show.

When is WWE Survivor Series WarGames?

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames airs tomorrow (Saturday, November 30), as the premium live event kicks off at 11pm for fans in the UK – which is earlier than we’re used to for events in North America.

How can you watch WWE Survivor Series WarGames?

Tune into the main Survivor Series WarGames show either live or on demand via the WWE Network, or on TNT Sports Box Office.

The Countdown to Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 show is scheduled to start at 10pm via the WWE Network, as well as X, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and more.

Everything will change for fans in January 2025 with WWE’s content set to move to Netflix as part of a mega $5 billion deal.

Will The Rock return at WWE Survivor Series WarGames?

Dwayne Johnson, best known to wrestling fans as The Rock, made a shock return at the end of Bad Blood last month.

With The Bloodline battle for supremacy taking centre stage, it’s natural fans are wondering if the Final Boss could make another appearance to confront Roman Reigns.

He’s got issues to settle with the Tribal Chief, while Solo Sikoa’s takeover of The Bloodline could make for a fascinating dynamic.

Dwayne confirmed this week he’s wrapped up filming on the live-action Moana movie, which means in theory he’s free for a WWE comeback – although they might decide to wait until the big Raw debut on Netflix in January.

What are the rules for WarGames match?

WarGames is one of wrestling’s most chaotic matches (Picture: WWE)

Two rings are surrounded by a double steel cage, with no roof

Each team has one member start the match, with the remaining superstars waiting in shark cages by the entranceway

After five minutes, one of the remaining members is allowed to enter the match

Every two minutes, another wrestler will enter, alternating between the two teams

Once everyone is in the cage, WarGames official begins and can end by pinfall or submission

When is WWE moving to Netflix?

WWE is switching over to Netflix from January 2025, and for UK fans that’ll be from the get-go on New Year’s Day.

The official move is the January 6 episode of Monday Night Raw (for US fans, that’s the only show heading to Netflix right now) – for us Brits, it’s a real game changer.
