Some early Christmas treats (Sony)

The likes of The Last Of Us Part 1 and GTA 5 are upwards of 75% off in the PlayStation 30th anniversary sale for the next couple of weeks.

Despite wrapping up its Black Friday discounts later today, Sony has already kicked off a new sale as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations for the PlayStation brand.

For anyone who’s still got money left over from Black Friday and those limited edition grey PlayStation 5 consoles, Sony is offering discounts upwards of 75% on well over 3,000 PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games via the PlayStation Store.

While the sale doesn’t include any recent first party releases like Astro Bot, it does provide a good opportunity to catch up on any major exclusives you may have missed over the last few years.

For instance, The Last Of Us Part 1 is half off at £34.99, if you felt £70 was too much of an asking price. Combined with the original PlayStation 4 release of The Last Of Us Part 2, which is currently £26.24, you can experience Naughty Dog’s duology for just over £60.

Gran Turismo 7 has also seen a 50% reduction to £34.99 and although it’s ironically a Microsoft property now, Sony is pushing the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which includes three whole games, at £13.99.

All the usual third party suspects are featured too, with EA Sports FC 25’s Ultimate Edition seeing an especially generous 50% price cut to £49.99 and GTA 5 going for less than £20. We can also personally recommend the Star Wars Jedi bundle that comes with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its sequel for only £19.99.

There are too many discounts to mention, so we’ve compiled the best ones we could find below, along with links to their respective listings on the PlayStation Store.

Just be aware the sale only lasts until December 20, and some games may leave the sale earlier than that – so be sure to double check.
