Strictly Come Dancing is facing chaos as the winner of this year’s Christmas special has already been leaked online.
The pre-recorded festive episode this year will see comedian and The Last Leg star Josh Widdicombe, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist Tayce, and podcaster and DJ Vogue Williams hitting the ballroom.
They’ll be competing against Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite and former racing car driver Billy Monger taking part.
While details such as their dances and song choices are still under wraps, the winner has already leaked online, thanks to the infamous Strictly mole.
In 2023, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick lifted the festive glitterball trophy with Nancy Xu, before he returned to Strictly for the official series this year.
And now, fans are discovering who will be following in his footsteps, as it was shared on a Strictly spoiler website.

‘Ho ho ho and a very Merry Christmas to you all,’ the website – which also publishes the weekly results before they’ve been announced – teased.
‘I hope you’ve all been good boys and girls because Santa has an early Christmas treat in the form of the festive spoiler.
‘No need to sit through the special whilst in a food coma or wait over three weeks to learn who wins the Christmas special because my stocking is full to the brim of spoilers so here are the results…’
After revealing the winner – which Metro won’t publish before the official announcement on Christmas Day – they added: ‘This festive spoiler has come from my own audience mole and should be accurate.’

Fans have been left divided on X, with @andrewmcb writing: ‘It’s December 4 & the Strictly Christmas special winner has leaked..’
@PeaksLfc said: ‘Least I know I don’t need to watch that then.’
Others were happy to know who won, with @BTuckerT37 writing: ‘So Happy with the winner of Christmas Strictly!!! My heart is bursting.’
@Jedi_Master_ said: ‘I am glad to see who won it It should be a good show. I really like the Christmas special.’
The brains behind the account, Dave Thorp, recently spoke to Metro about leaking the results, saying it came about by ‘accident’.

He said: ‘It was a little bit of an accident. I was originally a member of a spoiler thread on a discussion forum and mentioned on Twitter that I had the spoiler.
‘I would get people on there asking me to DM them the results, which I did. Eventually, it got to a point where quite a few people were asking, so I put the spoiler on a blog that I was running at the time, linked to it on Twitter, and a couple of years later I got a Google search ranking, and it just snowballed from there.’
Are you annoyed the Strictly results have been leaked?
Despite receiving some backlash on social media for his side hustle, with fans claiming he’s ‘ruining’ the magic of Strictly, Dave has a message for the trolls, reminding them they have to actively seek the spoiler out themselves, as he never posts it directly on X.
‘The attention has been thrust upon me, as this wasn’t something I deliberately set out to do; it just accidentally happened and has been snowballing ever since,’ he said.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special airs on BBC One and iPlayer on Christmas Day at 3.55pm.
