Music fans have absolutely roasted the lineup for Reading and Leeds Festivals 2025, despite some of the biggest stars being on the bill.
This year, Blink-182, Liam Gallagher, and Lana Del Rey headlined the annual events as thousands flocked to the sites to get in on the action.
Alas, the excitement for next year is virtually nonexistent if the online reaction is anything to go by.
Tonight, organisers confirmed that Chappell Roan and Travis Scott will headline in 2025.
Rock band Bring Me The Horizon and Irish singer-songwriter Hozier will also play at both events during the August bank holiday weekend.
Joining them will be The Kooks, Becky Hill, Suki Waterhouse, AJ Tracey, Trippie Redd, Sammy Virji, and Wallows.

Other artists making up the bill include Enter Shikari, Bloc Party, Conan Gray, Amyl and The Sniffers, Wunderhorse, and Rudim3ntal.
More acts are also due to be announced.
Chappell, in particular, has exploded across the music scene over the past 12 months, with her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, attracting millions of listeners.
Good Luck, Babe! also reached one billion streams on Spotify and was crowned Song of the Year by Rolling Stone.
Melvin Benn, boss of organiser Festival Republic, hailed Chappell as ‘an inspiring new pop star poised to define a generation’.
As for US rapper Travis, this will also be his first time playing at Reading and Leeds.

With a European-exclusive performance, the chart-topper will bring hits from his latest record, Utopia, to the stage, as well as a string of hits from his impressive back catalogue.
Sadly, though, the reaction to the lineup has been overwhelmingly negative, with X user olinewman1867 branding it ‘the worst festival lineup of all time.’
Meanwhile, greglee91 slated the genres of artists, adding: ‘Remember when Reading & Leeds used to be a rock festival? Good times…’
Elsewhere, fIowertemptress hailed it as ‘an awful day’ for Reading and Leeds, while maxmorleyafc said: ‘It just gets worse and worse every year’.
lilmonsterharry described the lineup as ‘awful’ and findingsammi said the big reveal was ‘disappointing’.
Fans have also expressed rage over Travis’s presence, given how, in November 2021, a crowd crush at his Astroworld Festival led to eight people dying on-site, with another two pronounced dead later in hospital.

The response hasn’t all been bad, though, as fans of Chappell are especially excited to have a chance to see her live, given how her UK tour previously sold out.
‘chappell roan at reading & leeds could tempt me back there after ten years’, wrote dullanmusic.
lightmylauren tweeted excitedly: ‘CHAPPELL HOZIER AND BMTH HEADLINING READING AND LEEDS COME ONNNNNN’.
The festivals will return across 21-24 August, and tickets will go on general sale from 12pm on December 9 via Ticketmaster.
