Genshin Impact: miHoYo Reveals Three Characters Coming in the 1.7 Update

miHoYo took legal action against the leakers responsible for the Genshin Impact version 1.6 leaks. They also leaked Kazuha way before developers put any official information on him. This made the developers quite upset, and it looks like they have found an alternative method to deal with them.

The 1.6 update is only a few days away and several fans are already excited for the next 1.7 update. However, in order to put a stop to leaks, miHoYo leaked 1.7 characters on Twitter. There are three upcoming characters planned for the 1.7 update.

Upcoming 1.7 characters in Genshin Impact

Yoimiya

After Yoimiya’s release, it’s kind of confirmed that Amber is replaced and will no longer receive some buffs in the future. Yoimiya will belong to a Pyro element and will be a bow user. Furthermore, some rumors say that she will be a mixture of Ganyu and Hu Tao who are currently the best main damage dealers in the game.

Apart from that, her adorable looks have earned her a place in players’ Waifu collection. The developers also informed that she is the owner of Naganohara Fireworks in Inazuma.

Ayaka finally makes her debut after the beta version in Genshin Impact

Ayaka was one of the playable characters in the beta version of the game. Since then players hold great affection towards her and were patiently waiting for her appearance. Finally, she will become a playable character and will have her limited banner in the 1.7 update.

She holds a Cryo vision and is a sword user. In the 1.6 livestream, she said she will patiently wait for the Traveler’s arrival in Inazuma. However, if miHoYo plans to introduce her with the same kit as it did in the beta version then she will fall off the meta soon. She needs big buffs so that she can match up to other characters.

Sayu

Last but not least, Sayu is the new four-star character arriving in the 1.7 update. Although it looks like she belongs to the Dendro element, she holds an Anemo vision.

In addition to that, miHoYo described her as a Mujina Ninja. She is expected to be a claymore user and will be the first claymore user from the Anemo element. It would be interesting to see whether she will be a main DPS or a support unit.
