Ariana Grande tipped for rom-com after ‘insane’ chemistry with hunky Hollywood actor-Laura Harman-Entertainment – Metro

Ariana Grande’s fans are desperate for her to star in a romantic comedy after seeing her ‘chemistry’ with Gladiator 2 star Paul Mescal.

A short snippet shared by Variety of Ariana, 31, and Paul, 28, has completely consumed fans who were left enchanted by the duo’s natural rapport.

The pair seemed awkward and smiled a lot at one another, in this short interaction that only lasted a few seconds to tease the outlet’s Actors on Actors series.

In the clip, the pair discussed Wicked and Gladiator 2′s shared release dates and laughed about ‘Glicked’ – another spin-off of Barbie and Oppenheimer’s Barbienheimer from 2023.

Fans immediately claimed that the tension was ‘insane’ between the pair and their chemistry was palpable.

Many even demanded that the pair should be cast in a romantic comedy as soon as possible.

‘Ariana Grande and Paul Mescal… get them in a romcom immediately,’ said Dieforyous.

Others suggested they would be perfect for a live action version of Disney’s Hercules, with Paul playing the son of Zeus and Ariana playing Megara.

‘The chemistry is insane cast them as Megara and Hercules,’ said Positionsmafiaa.

‘Not them soft launching the live-action cast of Hercules,’ said joshsuiso.

Although fans may have sensed chemistry between the pair, both actors are rumoured to be in relationships.

Paul is rumoured to be dating singer Gracie Abrams, and Ariana is said to be dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.

Paul has worked on romantic roles before and his breakout role was in the romantic drama Normal People across from Daisy Edgar Jones. He is also known for starring in the fantasy romance All of Us Strangers opposite Andrew Scott. However, Paul has yet to star in a romantic comedy.

Similarly, Ariana’s previous roles have yet to see her cast as a romantic lead. Perhaps this eager reaction from fans could ignite a casting director to pair the two up in the near future.
