It has been reported that Kate Moss and her partner Nikolai von Bismarck of nine years have split.

Kate, 50, and Nikolai, 37, have reportedly split after reports that the supermodel broke up with the German aristocrat after growing apart.

A source told The Sun that the couple had been in an uncertain place for some time and the model was keen to have some ‘fun’ again.

‘Kate and Nikolai have been on and off for months, and ­eventually Kate felt the time was right to move on and cut ties,’ the source said.

‘She felt they were going on different journeys in life. And, at 50, Kate feels fabulous and like she wants to get back out there and have some fun in time for Christmas.’

‘Despite being 13 years her junior, Nikolai wants to enjoy a quieter life. He remains on his sober path and they just have increasingly different hobbies and wants,’ they told The Sun.

The source went on to add that Kate’s friends have been supportive but there is a little tension because they are in the same social crowds.

‘Her pals have been rallying around her, and are super supportive.

‘Obviously it’s a bit awkward because they move in similar social circles and he is the son of her great family friend ­Debbie von Bismarck.

‘But she and Nikolai remain on friendly terms, and are both adamant there won’t be any tension or hostility,’ they said.

Nikolai is the great-great-grandson of 19th-century German Chancellor Otto, Prince of Bismarck.

Before Kate began dating the Count they were close friends because of her friendship with his mother, Countess Debonnaire von Bismarck.

Nikolai and Kate both went sober in 2017, with reports since suggesting that Kate has been seen hitting the town with her sister Lottie and enjoying raucous birthday parties.

It had been rumoured for months that the couple had been on the rocks, with reports that both Kate and Nikolai had been getting closer to other people.

The star has had several high-profile relationships. Notably, the star dated actor Johnny Depp between 1994 and 1998 and recalled when the Pirates of The Caribbean pulled a string of diamonds from his ‘crack’.

She also dated Dazed & Confused editor Jefferson Hack, with whom she shares a 22-year-old daughter, Lila Moss.

The model also dated Pete Doherty after she met The Libertines singer at her 31st birthday party in 2005.

Pete announced in April 2007 that they were engaged and in July of the same year the couple split.

The model went on to date The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince and the couple married in July 2011. They separated in 2015 and divorced in 2016. She then went on to date German aristocrat Count Nikolai for nine years.
