Jeremy Clarkson has sparked concern after sharing a photo of his poor dog and a bloody tissue.
The Clarkson’s Farm presenter, 64, has a number of canine pals, including two fox-red Labradors called Sansa and Arya, and he even named his pub The Farmer’s Dog.
On Sunday, he posted a snap on Instagram of one of the pooches looking a little forlorn with blood in its fur as someone held the tissue near their ear.
‘The dog is leaking,’ he captioned the picture, as worried fans rushed to the comments to ask how his dog was doing.
‘Nooooooo! I hope she’s okay! ❤,’ wrote @wonderfulworldoflottie, as @roisintrunk added: ‘Ah no way I hope she’s ok ❤️’
‘Is the dog ok,’ asked @theallaroundcarspotter, while @taniadurant64 commented: ‘Oh no, what happened. Hope she isn’t too badly hurt.’

Despite the concern from fans, Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan gave an update under the post as she revealed how the injury happened.
She replied: ‘Poor little edjiot, a thorn nicked the end of her ear.’
Her husband’s followers were relieved, and some revealed their own similar experiences with their pets.
‘Ours did the same then shook her head in the bathroom and it looked like a massacre,’ wrote penny_kat, and @retromummame added: ‘poor thing, dogs ears bleed so much glad it’s all fine now ❤️’

Not everyone was quite so concerned about the situation, with some people taking a different outlook.
‘It’s a farm dog, I’d almost be concerned if it never bled ever. Least it’s getting a good life which for working dogs is fundamental,’ replied a different follower.
And someone else joked: ‘I’m sure Chipping Norton Council will use this as a reason to try and shut the farm citing animal abuse.’

Back in October, Jeremy made the jump from dog owner to race horse owner as he bought a new four-year-old steed for £60.
‘That’s incredible value for money, because a dog is much smaller, and this has a much longer face,’ he said as another voice off camera pointed out ‘£60 only gets you a share of the horse’.
He had to tell the horse off (Picture: @thehawkstonianhorse)
What?’ the Who Wants to be a Millionaire host asked. ‘Well okay, you don’t get all of the horse for £60. But it is a race horse, which means that you will be able to…’
As he tried to justify his purchase, the horse began smelling Jeremy’s nether regions.
‘Stop smelling my testes,’ he asked, as the horse continued to have a good sniff.
