Benedetto Vigna Appointed New Ferrari CEO To Replace Louis Camilleri

Ferrari have just dropped an announcement about their recruit. The Italian team have brought in Benedetto Vigna to be their new Chief Executive Officer and has replaced Louis Camilleri in the team’s hierarchy.

The new boss of the Maranello-based outfit will join his new colleagues on the 1st of September. As of now, he works at STMicroelectronics. where is the President of its Analog, MEMS (Micro-electromechanical Systems), and Sensors Group.

Ferrari have high hopes as the new boss will lead the team

The Chairman of Ferrari, John Elkann said, “We’re delighted to welcome Benedetto Vigna as our new Ferrari CEO. His deep understanding of the technologies driving much of the change in our industry. And his proven innovation, business-building and leadership skills, will further strengthen Ferrari. And its unique story of passion and performance, in the exciting era ahead.”

On joining the Italian business outfit, Vigna commented, “It’s a special honour to be joining Ferrari as its CEO and I do so with an equal sense of excitement and responsibility. Excitement at the great opportunities that are there to be captured.

“And with a profound sense of responsibility towards the extraordinary achievements and capabilities of the men and women of Ferrari, to all the company’s stakeholders. And to everyone around the world for whom Ferrari is such a unique passion,” he concluded.

The Italian’s team’s objective with their leader at the helm

Ferrari are one the biggest car manufactures in the world, and with big ambition just not the F1 track but in business itself. Hence, the Italian team has the utmost faith in their new leader and hopes he can take them to new heights in the near future.

The Maranello-based squad wrote, “In his role as CEO Mr. Vigna’s priority will be to ensure that Ferrari continues to build on its leadership position as the creator of the world’s most beautiful and technically advanced cars.
