Gregg Wallace has cut the price of an annual subscription on his wellness business by almost half amid an investigation into his alleged sexual misconduct on MasterChef.

The 60-year-old has slashed the cost of a yearly membership, which would normally set customers back £89.99, by £40 on his lifestyle and weight loss platform GreggWallace.Health.

Founded after Wallace lost 5 stone, the venture claims to aid healthy living by providing recipes, a progress tracker and fitness advice, among other tools.

Earlier this week it was announced that I’m A Celebrity star Grace Dent would be replacing Wallace on MasterChef as he has ‘stepped away’ from the cooking show pending an external review into historical allegations of misconduct.

A source later claimed to The Sun that Wallace ‘conceded he has lost everything’ and ‘expects to be sacked’ after former co-workers, including Newsnight star Kirsty Wark, complained about his behaviour.

Another source also told the Mail that he told friends he ‘accepted his TV career is basically at an end’ and he was being ‘quite reflective and pragmatic’ about the investigation.

Wallace first addressed the scandal in a clip on Instagram and sparked immense backlash, including from Sir Keir Starmer ,for saying the complaints were made by ‘a handful of middle-class women of a certain age’.

He later apologised for his comments and ‘any offence caused’ and said he ‘wasn’t in a good head space’ when he made them.

‘I’ve been under a huge amount of stress, a lot of emotion, I felt very alone, under siege when I posted it,’ Wallace said.

‘It’s obvious to me I need to take some time out now while this investigation is underway.

‘I hope you understand and I do hope that you will accept this apology.’

Wallace faces accusations of making ‘inappropriate sexual jokes’ and lewd comments on set, asking for the phone numbers of female members of production staff, and undressing in front of and standing ‘too close’ to women working on his shows.

Further allegations claim he groped three people in different incidents, that he ‘mimicked sex acts’ and walked around the studio almost ‘completely naked’, with more than 13 people across a range of shows over a 17-year-period making complaints.

It is also claimed that he sexually harassed his ghost-writer with ‘thigh rubs’, while several women have spoken out, including Ulrika Jonsson and Melanie Sykes.

Wallace and his lawyers have fiercely denied the allegations, saying ‘it is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature’.

The most recent series of MasterChef: The Professionals continued to air with Wallace as judge – but two MasterChef celebrity Christmas specials, a Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook Off and a Strictly Festive Extravaganza have been pulled from the BBC’s Christmas schedule.
