Jeremy Clarkson has been targeted by thieves.
The Clarkson’s Farm star, 64, revealed today that potential robbers have eyed up his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire, which he purchased in 2008 – and noted they went to some extreme lengths to scout the property.
In his most recent column, the former Top Gear host, who farms animals and agriculture on his land, explained that outsiders visited the farmyard and had drones fly over it, seemingly to map out a criminal plan.
‘Two weeks ago, five men in a van came into the farmyard. They checked out the security cameras and asked Kaleb [Cooper] how many dogs were on the site,’ he wrote in his column published in The Sun.
‘I reported this to the police, who said the plates on the van had been cloned. More worryingly, on two separate nights in the last week, a drone has been spotted scouting the house and the farmyard.’
Jeremy continued to explain that after he had spoken to the police, they advised him to check his security systems to ensure they were ‘up to scratch’.

However, the TV star had another protection measure: a guinea fowl.
The animal is a type of bird of the family Numididae in the order Galliformes, and was gifted to him by his daughter and her husband as a way of paying him back for always buying his grandchildren loud toys.
Jeremy noted he has 12 of the birds and claimed they have the most ear-piercingly loud vocals, which he believes would scare off any potential thief.
They’re so loud, in fact, that he compared them to a NASA test of the space program’s 37 million horsepower Space Shuttle engines.
While the star is fairly confident the birds will be enough to keep the robbers away, he did explain he also has a decent security system in place and told readers it is one that would cause a person’s eardrums to turn into’blood-speckled gooey mush.’
Jeremy also has a great team working on his farm, including Kaleb Cooper, who recently received a hefty pay rise for his commitment to farming and helping the British star navigate the land for the first time.

It was reportedly yesterday that the 26-year-old went from paying himself a 50p-per-hour wage to having a more than £1,000,000 fortune thanks to his participation in the show.
Clarkson’s Farm first aired in 2021 and has become a fan favourite. According to one fan, it is a ‘thoroughly entertaining series’ and earns a nine out of 10-star rating on IMDb.
The show follows Jeremy as he attempts to run a farm in the countryside—but there’s a catch: He has no previous farming experience.
While it’s unclear whether the robber situation will be documented for the hit show, for now, you can keep up with Jeremy and his crew on the next series of Clarkson’s Farm. The new episodes are set to arrive on the streamer in May 2025.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
