VIDEO: 7 Second Knockout by Terrance McKinney at UFC 263 Almost Breaks Jorge Masvidal’s Record
Terrance McKinney secured the fastest KO in the lightweight divisional history in the early prelims section for UFC 263. McKinney put out 8-3-1 lightweight fighter Matt Frevola in seven seconds of round one. The lightning-quick finish was book ended by a celebration that ended up injuring McKinney’s knee.
Furthermore, McKinney was making his debut with the organization and it’s safe to say he’s off to the races. Matt Frevola is a tried and tested commodity with 6 UFC fights under his belt and the KO came out of the blue. ‘The Steamrolla’ was caught off guard with McKinney’s speed that was crucial in securing the finish.

‘T-Wrecks’ McKinney came into the organization off a consolidated run from LFA and he’s begun his UFC run on the right track. He’s riding a four-fight win streak and is a promising prospect in the lightweight division.
Chiefly, the UFC’s 155-pound division is arguably the most competitive weight class on the roster and it’s hard to make an impression. However, Terrance McKinney will be keen to continue his upward trajectory up the ranks of the UFC. As it stands, it’s arguably the hardest division to crack into and the lightweights will be on the notice.
Moreover, Jorge Masvidal provided his reaction to the fight in what will go down as one of the fastest KO’s in UFC history, period.
So close! #ufc263
