“I Always Find It Very Disrespectful” – Kamaru Usman Fires Back at the Critics of Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul is set to fight his fourth boxing match against former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. This will mark the debut of ‘The Chosen One’ as he has never fought a professional boxing match in his career. The fight has been scheduled for 28 August and will go down as a Showtime pay-per-view.

After Woodley signed the contract to fight Paul, a lot of people termed this as an easy fight for Paul. Many fight fans are overlooking Woodley as they believe the former UFC champion is not the same after suffering four back-to-back defeats, and Kamaru Usman joined an interview where he gave his take on this situation.

Kamaru Usman said, “I always find it very disrespectful that people tried to do that because even though I faced Tyron Woodley and I was able to defeat him, I still don’t discredit what he did and what he’s done. I mean, this man was a devastating striker and I think still is. You know I just think on the mental edge side of it, I think he’s not there necessarily right now, but he’s still Tyron Woodley. And it’s a hell of a fight for Jake Paul.”

Tyron Woodley is a huge step up for Jake Paul

It is true that ‘The Chosen One’ has passed his prime and is not the same fighter he used to be. But it’s also true that Jake Paul is an inexperienced combatant and has only fought three times. People believe all his opponents were easy fights. Tyron Woodley is a huge step up for ‘The Problem Child’ because Woodley is a knockout artist.

Paul has not faced a knockout artist like this before. Even at the age of thirty-nine, ‘The Chosen One’ is a dangerous opponent for anyone and can shut the light off with a single hit. It seems like an interesting contest where youth will meet experience. Woodley has only lost to top UFC Welterweight where three of them dominated him in the Wrestling department. This fight with Paul is a stand up contest where the fortune could turn in the favor of the former UFC champion.

Will Tyron Woodley finally stop Jake Paul or will ‘The Problem Child’ get his fourth victory?
