Kyle Larson Extends his Win Streak Ahead of NASCAR Cup Race at the Nashville Superspeedway

Kyle Larson has been in the form of his life in the past few weeks. Three consecutive wins in the NASCAR Cup Series can attest to that. However, it now seems that that form is not limited to NASCAR. On Wednesday night, he clinched his second victory in the sprint car series at Ohio.

Larson was so dominant that he led all but one lap and seized his 26th career All Star Circuit of Champions victory. This will surely boost his confidence ahead of the Cup race at Nashville Superspeedway. It is also worth mentioning that this is Larson’s third win this season. His last two triumphs came at Williams Grove Speedway and at Wayne County Speedway. However, it is worth noting that second-placed Rico Abreu kept him on his toes, while Tyler Courtney finished third.

What did Kyle Larson say about the win?

“Rico made me earn that one,” Larson said. “What an awesome race track. I love Waynesfield. This is definitely my favorite Ohio track. I think this is my first wing win here. I think I finished second a couple of times with a wing on and once without a wing. We’re going to head to Nashville now and try to get a win on Sunday.”

Without a doubt, the Hendrick Motorsports team are thrilled to have Larson in their Cup Series squad. Suffice to say, Jimmie Johnson can rest easy, knowing that the team is in good hands. The best part is that Larson’s teammates are no slouches either, and have notched up race wins.

The latest one to get on that list was reigning champion Chase Elliott. He was the only one left after William Byron, Alex Bowman and Larson already grabbed wins. The best part for Elliott was that he won at the Circuit of the Americas, making him the first winner and preserving his road course maestro reputation.
