Deborah Meaden revealed a horse riding accident led to her hospital visit.

The Dragons’ Den star, 62, sparked concern when she shared a snap in hospital, showing off her bandaged arms.

When Kelly Hoppen questioned what had happened, the businesswoman explained she injured herself while trying to mount a horse.

‘I thought I could hope I the steed ide of the mounting block…turns out I couldn’t  thanks for checking xx [sic],’ she replied.

The BBC star also thanked fans for being so supportive during her health issues.

‘Can I just say what a warm lovely Twitter you have all been…,’ she posted. 

‘If your wishes could make my wrist mend I’d be fixed overnight thank you all for your loveliness but also for your appreciation of our wonderful #NHS x.’

Deborah revealed she had gone in for treatment yesterday, sharing a photo of herself in hospital.

In the upload, she could be seen smiling widely as she showed off her plaster casts, beside two NHS workers.

‘I know you know but our #NHS is blooming brilliant. Went in fractured wrist,’ she told fans.

‘Several x rays, manipulation under painkillers with reassuring voice in my ear and I leave with plastercast and wrist on the mend. 

‘Here with Becky and @Lowri_punc19 thankyou xxx [sic].’

Her fellow Dragons’ Den stars were among those flooding the post with support, wishing her a speedy recovery.

Theo Paphitis replied: ‘Oh no – wishing you a speedy recovery Deborah! You look like you’re in safe hands x.’

Sara Davies commented under the same picture on her Instagram page: ‘Omg what’s happened!?!’
