Roderick Strong Leads Diamond Mine to Make a Huge Statement on WWE NXT Debut

For weeks, WWE aired vignettes for a faction known as the ‘Diamond Mine.’ NXT announced the faction would make their debut this week on NXT. However, we didn’t see or hear about them until they made a strong impact following the main event between Kushida and Kyle O’Reilly.

Diamond Mine finally makes WWE debut, Roderick Strong returns!

Kyle O’Reilly and Kushida faced off in a dream match in the main event of WWE NXT this week. Following the main event, both men embraced in the ring. But it didn’t last long as Adam Cole jumped O’Reilly from behind.

Cole and O’Reilly brawled outside the ring into the announcers table. Meanwhile, Kushida sat in the corner and regrouped after the intense match. Just as Kushida could make his way on the outside to stop the brawl, an unknown man attacked him.

No one realized who it is at the start, as we could only see the name ‘Diamond Mine’ printed on his jacket. After putting away Kushida with a vicious backbreaker, the unknown man revealed himself to be none other than Roderick Strong! Yes, the former member of the Undisputed Era!

Roderick Strong didn’t come alone. As Kushida laid lifeless inside the ring, Strong stood tall on top. Tyler Rust, another NXT Superstar, came and stood right behind Strong while another strong Japanese man stood on another side. For those unaware, the Japanese man is former Pro Wrestling NOAH wrestler Hideki Suzuki.

Strong, Rust and Suzuki aren’t the only ones in Diamond Mine faction. Malcom Bivens, the mouthpiece or representative of Tyler Rust, too is a part of the faction. And without much thought, as a manager!

Just as Strong, Rust and Suzuki posed over a lifeless Kushida, Malcom Bivens came from behind holding the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. The show closed with the all-new Diamond Mine standing tall with Roderick Strong looking intensely at the Cruiserweight title.

There was a lot of intrigue behind who Diamond Mine could be, and today the wait finally came to an end. It’s safe to say Diamond Mine is here to stay and to takeover NXT.
