Blue’s Duncan James lets slip on live TV that Lee Ryan’s baby has been born ‘He’s just become a daddy again’

Duncan James has revealed the news that Lee Ryan and girlfriend Verity Paris have welcomed their first baby together during a live TV appearance.
The Blue star, 43, had appeared on Lorraine on Friday where he discussed plans for the band to have a reunion in future.
While speaking about Blue getting back together, Duncan let slip that Lee, 38, had welcomed a baby with Ariana Grande tribute act Verity.
He told Lorraine Kelly: ‘‘I think with the pandemic everything’s kind of changed and shifted which is kind of annoying. Lee [Ryan] lives in Spain, he’s just become a daddy again.’
As Lorraine exclaimed: ‘Has he?!’, Duncan added: ‘So he’s got a little wee bubba and Simon [Webbe] has just become a father again so there’s like a baby Blue boom going on.’
Lee’s rep confirmed the news to Metro.co.uk, saying in a statement: ‘Lee and Verity welcomed the arrival of their beautiful daughter earlier this month as they begin their new family life together in Spain. Both mother and baby are healthy.’
