Amanda Holden flashes her tanned legs in a mini dress in London

AMANDA Holden turned heads as she headed to work in London today.

The 50-year-old brightened up a very dreary way wearing an orange and yellow paisley print minidress, which showcased her amazing legs.

She teamed it with an orange Gucci bag and a pair of retro looking shades, creating a very cool Seventies look.

It’s not the only time Amanda has hit headlines recently – she also caused a stir when she admitted she had nearly joined the Mile High club with her husband Chris Hughes.

Speaking on Alan Carr’s podcast, Life’s A Beach, she admitted:  “Well, we’ve had a go, but we never quite made it. There’s too much scrutiny.

“Everyone’s watching. There’s no way you can do that.”

She also admitted she loves sunbathing naked – but only in private.

The in-demand telly and radio star said: “I never wear a bikini on holiday. But I wouldn’t mix with other nudists. There’s a difference.

“I have served the Sunday lunch naked. But no, I would never get my n*nny out in public. In a private villa, yes.”

During the same podcast Amanda hit out at having to spend £2500 on Covid tests for her family holiday to Portugal.

The BGT judge acknowledged she was in a place of privilege to afford the private tests – but said she believes other Brits, who aren’t in the same position financially, are being taken advantage of.

Amanda was not happy about paying £2.5k for Covid tests recently

She said: “We went from the Friday to the Friday, but getting there cost over £2,500 in tests, which I don’t want to rant on and on about it, but I think that is taking advantage of the British public.

“I’m in a position where I can afford to chuck that money. It’s a huge amount of money – someone’s taking the p**s.

“If I’d chose to, I could have got in a queue at Faro airport and got one for 25 Euros, but I probably would have caught Covid as well, because the queue was round the block.”

The Heart Breakfast presenter explained she and her husband Chris Hughes along with their daughters, Hollie and Alexa, returned from Portugal before it was switched from the green to the amber list on June 8.

Reflecting on her experience, the star said there should be an “inquiry” into the price of the private PCR tests when she was asked by Carr whether it was worth dropping £2,500 for them.

Amanda added: “It was worth it in the sense that we got away as a family, because so many other people didn’t get away.

“But never again am I paying that sort of money. There should be some sort of inquiry into that.”
