Love Island 2021 fans frustrated after Chloe Burrows twist cliffhanger: ‘This is a joke’

Love Island 2021 fans were left massively frustrated on Tuesday night after being kept in the dark over Chloe Burrows’ twist coupling reveal.

Viewers expected the biggest revelation of the series so far, after the 25-year-old was tasked with coupling up with one of the boys. 

The launch episode ended on a bombshell as Chloe threw a spanner in the works straight away – informing the boys that one of them had to choose to go on a date with her and break up one of the couples.

After getting to know Aaron Francis, Brad McClelland, Hugo Hammond, Jake Cornish and Toby Aromolaran earlier in the episode, the stage was set. 

Chloe said her choice was ‘absolutely gorgeous’ – only, her pick of the boys wasn’t revealed. Instead, the twist was teased for Wednesday night’s show. 

It’s safe to say that fans weren’t impressed at being kept in the dark.

Tuesday night’s episode also saw Chloe take part in the racy challenge ‘Horny Devils’, which saw islanders spill their deepest secrets.

It also saw Hugo waste no time in leaning in for a smooch with Chloe, which took her by surprise.

Speaking in the Beach Hut afterwards, Chloe says: ‘I did not see that one coming!’

The new series of Love Island is well and truly underway after kicking off on Monday, with 11 islanders making themselves at home in the villa.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
