Sue Perkins and Anna Richardson are thought to be ‘sharing custody’ of their dog after their split, it has been claimed.

The former Great British Bake Off host and Naked Attraction presenter called time on their relationship recently, after seven years together.

They are said to be ‘amicable’ following the split, and still want to remain close.

However, an insider has claimed they only see each other now when they meet to hand over custody of their adorable dog, Tia.

‘The only time they see each other now is when they hand the dog over to each other,’ they told the MailOnline.

‘They haven’t spent much together in recent months, they’ve been living separate lives with Anna staying in Staffordshire and Sue remaining in London.’

Sue and Anna welcomed former rescue dog Tia into their household in 2017, adopting the pooch from Animal Lifeline’s Serendipity Kennels.

The pair first got together at a party in 2013, after Anna split from her boyfriend of 18 years.

Lifting the lid on the night they met in a candid interview on Lorraine, she said: ‘I’ve known Sue on the circuit but about a year and a half ago we met at a party and I was recently single and we just… all I can say, there was an understanding between us and for me the planets aligned.

‘I just thought, this person, it’s not even about a woman, this person is absolutely extraordinary.

‘There was an absolute understanding between us, and we’ve been together ever since,’ Anna added. ‘And it’s been profound for me.’

A source said the split was ‘amicable’ but not ‘an easy decision’ for Anna and Sue to make.

They added to the MailOnline: ‘But Sue and Anna are determined to remain friends and keep in touch.’
