“Never Give Up”: Hamilton is an Epitome of Inspiration After Winning Prestigious ESPY Award for Best Driver

Lewis Hamilton is no stranger to being given awards away from the Formula One track. The Brit recently got awarded an ESPYS awarded for being the best driver.

The 36-year-old stated it was an amazing achievement and was honored to be presented by it. Furthermore, Hamilton inspired young athletes to push themselves and unite to achieve great things in life.

Hamilton gives an inspiring speech to young athletes while winning an award

The 7-times world champion wasn’t available to be present at the prestigious event. Hence, he took to Twitter to show how grateful he is for receiving such a famed award.

He said, “Thank you to the ESPYS, and to all the fans for this incredible award. I have currently not had the pleasure of going to one of these amazing awards that the ESPYS do, but I am really so appreciative of all the amazing support that the ESPYS has given me over the years.”

“And, I really just want to send lots of love and positivity, and to all the young athletes out there doing incredible things, continue to strive for greatness, continue pushing. Never give up, there really isn’t a thing we can’t do if we put our minds to it. And, also if we come together, so during this time, stay positive and God bless,” Hamilton concluded.

The Knight is looking to pick up silverware at the British Grand Prix

This week, we will see the Mercedes driver take the title battle to Silverstone- his home race. Hamilton is hoping to grab a much-needed win to help him in his fight against, Max Verstappen for the championship, and help the Silver Arrows regain the lead in the constructor’s championship in hopes of winning their eighth title.

The Knight is hoping to keep the Red Bull prodigy in his rearview mirrors and prove to the ESPYS that they weren’t wrong in giving him the “Best Driver” award this year.
