The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco couldn’t hide her delight as she landed her first solo Emmy Award nomination for her role in The Flight Attendant.
The beloved actress is in the running for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her work on the HBO Max show, which she also executive produced.
The Flight Attendant stars Kaley as an alcoholic air hostess who wakes up one morning next to a dead body with no idea what happened and the 36-year-old has been landing nominations all year as fans and critics alike recognize her work.
However, the star still couldn’t believe the moment had finally come after 30 years in the business.
Sharing videos of her reaction on Instagram, the actress was nearly in tears when her name was read out during Tuesday’s announcement.
The star – who famously played Penny for 12 seasons on TBBT – seemed shocked and voiceless, as she repeatedly said, ‘Oh my God!’
