Courteney Cox’s daughter Coco has revealed who she would have dated from the younger cast of Friends, despite, you know, them all now being her mother’s middle-aged pals.
While Mike (played by Paul Rudd) is always the right choice in any situation, the 17-year-old would have apparently gone for the charms of Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc).
Sure a ‘how you doin’?’ melts the coldest of hearts, but are you sure, Coco?
The mother and daughter duo discussed which of the characters Coco would have ended up dating – either a young Joey, or a young Chandler Bing, played by Matthew Perry.
It was all part of a game of Who Knows Who Best? which saw Courteney and Coco go head to head to work out who knew each other better and the Friends star won 6-5, after guessing Coco would have chosen a young Joey.
We’re prepared to forgive Coco for this lapse in judgement seeing as we’re still on cloud nine following news the Friends reunion has been nominated for an Emmy, meaning Courteney has finally been nominated for a gong at the prestigious event.

HBO Max’s Friends: The Reunion received a variety special (pre-recorded) nomination from the Television Academy on Tuesday.
Friends was nominated for dozens of Emmys during its 10-year run, with a handful of major wins along the way, including outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for Lisa Kudrow in 1998, and outstanding comedy series in 2002.
Courteney is the only Friends star who was never individually nominated for an acting gong, but she has now received a nod as one of the reunion’s executive producers.
She had previously revealed her hurt at missing out on a gong, saying that it was tough not to have received the same recognition.
However, the actress uploaded a group selfie of herself with the cast and producer Ben Winston on Instagram to celebrate the latest development.

She wrote: ‘The one where we are incredibly grateful to the Academy for this honour and especially thankful for @mrbenwinston and his entire team for their outstanding achievement.’
