Jermell Charlo vs Brian Castano Ends in a Split Draw
The electrifying undisputed super-welterweight clash between Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano stayed true to the hype and attention created around it. Both the fighters put on a performance of their lives to attain the undisputed championship status. But in the end, this fight ended with a tragic draw and the fans were left disheartened.
The fight began on a good note for Castano as he took Charlo to the corner to land his astonishing hits. He tried cutting the distance right from the beginning and came up with some slick attacks. On the other hand, ‘Iron Man’ took notes of his adversary’s approach and he only moved in the squared circle.

In round 2, both the men viciously attacked each other and made this contest even more intriguing. Charlo, in this round, counter-attacked extremely well and he showed his power to one and all. He even kept some swift ring movements to simultaneously dodge the heat coming off the Argentinian boxer’s hand.
In round 3, Castano caught Charlo with a combination of shots and it seemed as if the American boxer would go down on the canvas. But he kept composure and stood tall.
The much powerful Castano continued with his attack in the later rounds and he certainly showed that he’s the more powerful fighter in comparison to Charlo.

Both of them exchanged some fiery blows with each other, and their slugfest only got better in the later rounds. The undefeated boxer marched forward with his attack on Charlo, thus displaying colossal stamina.

Charlo reverted, with some counterattacks abruptly, but Castano’s pressure was too much to handle for him.

The tussle between the two fetched the distance and Charlo found his best momentum in round 10. He came out right on top with some stupendous right hands consistently to smother his contemporary.

‘Iron Man’ and Castano both landed some solid hits in round 11. And their high-voltage bout went till round 12. Both the men showed some exuberant class, and they kept the fans entertained throughout.
However, in the end, both the fighters showed a lion heart, and this bout ended with a draw.
