Towie’s Harry Derbidge and fiancé Dean Rowland had to put their adoption plans on hold last year and cancelled their wedding twice, but the pair have revealed they’re still hoping on starting a family together.

Harry, 27, who appeared on ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex until 2011, got engaged to his 30-year-old fiancé in 2019.

The former reality star revealed that the pair of them are ready to finally become parents after initial plans were delayed.

‘When me and Dean met four years ago he always said that he wanted kids and I said I definitely wanted kids one day. So, I can’t wait for that day to finally happen,’ Harry told MailOnline.

Dean added that when they’re out shopping together and see children’s clothes, it reminds them of how much they want to be parents.

The couple had started the adoption process back in 2019 but unfortunately, because of the pandemic, it was delayed.

During the variety of lockdowns here in England, Harry and Dean developed their makeup brush company Celebrity Brushes, which resulted in them putting the adoption on hold so that they could focus on the business.

‘When we started the adoption process, we actually started it two years ago in the January, and then Covid started in March last year so we didn’t even get a chance to get into it properly,’ Dean explained.

Harry added: ‘We’re still really passionate about going through our adoption process. It’s something we are 100% doing.’

The pair had planned to marry in August of last year, but the pandemic forced them to postpone their special day not once, but twice.

However, they are still set on finally saying ‘I do’ at a celebrity-studded wedding in 2022, aiming for a summer date.

Harry said they plan on it being a ‘very traditionally Essex’ event, which means ensuring the occasion is as lavish as possible.

They have received the ‘all clear’ for August 19 next year, and they have their fingers crossed that the wedding will still go ahead.
